IT Business Analyst

About the role

The IT Business Analyst will work closely with business partners to gather, analyze, and translate requirements into clear system specifications. This role supports the technology team by documenting processes, identifying improvement areas, and mentoring to boost operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Understand and evaluate business partners’ objectives, needs and challenges to anticipate requirements and drive improvements.
• Gather and elicit business requirements, produce detailed documentation (as‑is/to‑be processes, workflows, use cases, user stories).
• Translate requirements into functional specifications for technical teams and assist in solution design.
• Coordinate meetings and presentations to share findings and solutions with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Monitor, assess, and validate solutions and deliverables to ensure they meet business needs.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience as a business or functional analyst.
• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP®) or similar certification.
• Fluent English (B2+) and advanced Spanish (C1+).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment and drive business process changes.
