IT Automation & Platform Engineer (Remote)

About the role

Zyte is looking for an IT Automation & Platform Engineer to design, build and operate the internal SaaS platform that connects our business systems. This remote position treats internal IT as an engineering discipline, using code‑first automation to streamline workflows across sales, support, finance and engineering tools.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and maintain the backbone of Zyte’s internal technology ecosystem, integrating SaaS products such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Zendesk, Intercom, Stripe, Chargebee, Atlassian, GitHub and Notion.
• Design reliable, event‑driven automation pipelines using APIs, webhooks and ChatOps integrations.
• Develop internal CLI tools, scripts and small services in Python, Go or similar languages to automate common IT and business workflows.
• Build and sustain API‑driven data synchronization and entitlement provisioning across multiple platforms.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to introduce AI‑assisted workflows and improve operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business systems engineering and automation of SaaS environments.
• Strong coding skills with a focus on automation, preferably in Python or Go.
• Ability to design and implement reliable, scalable integrations between cloud services.
• Experience working with CRM, support, billing and collaboration tools.
