Instrumentista de Laboratorio – Cromatografía HPLC/GC

About the role

We are looking for a Laboratory Instrument Operator with chromatography experience to join the Quality Control team at AAK Uruguay. The role involves operating, calibrating and maintaining analytical equipment to ensure accurate testing of raw materials, intermediates and finished products.

Key responsibilities

• Operate HPLC and GC‑MS systems for routine and non‑routine analyses.
• Perform calibration, verification and basic maintenance of analytical instruments.
• Validate composition and purity specifications of raw materials, intermediates and final products.
• Document results and ensure compliance with established quality standards.
• Report to the Laboratory Manager and collaborate with the QC team.
• Work on‑site Monday to Friday, 08:00‑17:30.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating HPLC and/or GC equipment.
• Solid knowledge of calibration, verification and basic maintenance of analytical instruments.
• Experience in a Quality Control laboratory performing analyses on raw, intermediate or finished products.
• University degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Engineering or a related field.
• Functional technical English for reading manuals and basic communication.
