About the role

As a Remote Cybersecurity Engineer at BairesDev, you will design, implement, and manage security measures that protect our clients' systems, networks, and data from cyber threats. You will work closely with development and operations teams to embed security throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and manage security controls for information systems and infrastructure.
• Monitor networks and systems to detect security breaches and investigate incidents.
• Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests.
• Develop and maintain security documentation, policies, and procedures.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate security into the SDLC.
• Research emerging security technologies and threat landscapes.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in information security or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks, best practices, and compliance standards.
• Experience with security tools, technologies, and methodologies.
• Understanding of network security, encryption, and identity management.
• Familiarity with incident response and risk assessment processes.
• Ability to communicate complex security concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Advanced English proficiency.
