IB Mathematics Teacher

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, student‑centred IB Mathematics Teacher to join our secondary school. The role involves delivering the IB Diploma Programme Mathematics curriculum, fostering critical thinking and problem‑solving, and preparing students for internal and external assessments.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high‑quality lessons aligned with the IB Mathematics curriculum.
• Assess student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback.
• Prepare students for internal and external IB assessments.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Maintain a positive, inquiry‑based classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, moderation and interdisciplinary projects.
• Keep accurate student records and communicate with students, parents and school leadership.
• Participate in school events, professional development and the wider school community.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Valid teaching qualification/license with experience teaching mathematics at secondary level.
• Experience with the IB Diploma Programme is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of IB Mathematics curriculum and assessment practices.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and classroom‑management abilities.
