Human Resources Generalist

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Human Resources Generalist to join our Montevideo team. You will own end‑to‑end HR processes, support our growing organization and help shape a strong, people‑focused culture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full‑cycle recruitment and selection, from need identification to onboarding new hires.
• Coordinate payroll administration, updates and benefits, ensuring efficient processes and a positive employee experience.
• Manage employee lifecycle events such as hires, terminations, probation periods, promotions, transfers and labor documentation.
• Design and implement onboarding, training and development initiatives.
• Support performance evaluation processes.
• Assist leaders and employees on labor‑relations and people‑management matters.
• Help prevent and resolve workplace issues, promoting a healthy work climate.
• Drive activities that strengthen integration, engagement and company culture.
• Coordinate relationships with external HR service providers.

Required profile

• University degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of HR experience, preferably in medium‑ or large‑size companies.
• Experience in industrial or international environments is a plus.
• Proven ability to manage recruitment and personnel administration autonomously.
• Strong knowledge of Uruguayan labor legislation.
• Excellent communication, organization, planning and teamwork skills.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and juggle multiple priorities.
