GMP Technician

About the role

The GMP Technician ensures that assigned cleanroom areas remain clean, orderly, and compliant with GMP standards. Working closely with team members, the technician follows written and verbal instructions to maintain a safe and controlled environment.

Key responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Perform repetitive cleaning and sanitization tasks in a GMP environment.
• Maintain a clean work area and use proper personal protective equipment.
• Communicate professionally with leads, supervisors, co‑workers, managers, and customers.
• Support shift leads in completing punch‑list items, work orders, and shutdown cleaning.
• Complete daily FN logs accurately and adhere to all SOPs.
• Be certified in gowning procedures and complete all required safety and task training.
• Act as a fill‑in for staff shortages when needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience (preferred).
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.
• Forklift certification may be required.
• Completion of all safety and task‑training certifications.

Required skills

• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, and manuals.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, compounds, and equipment.
• Proficiency in gowning procedures for GMP areas.
• Safety certifications, including chemical safety.
• Forklift operation (if required).
