GMP Technician

About the role

The GMP Technician is responsible for maintaining assigned cleanroom areas in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environment. The role involves performing routine cleaning, sanitization, and documentation tasks while working closely with team members and supervisors.

Key responsibilities

• Keep GMP‑controlled areas clean, orderly, and compliant with SOPs.
• Perform repetitive cleaning and sanitization tasks, including walls, floors, windows, and equipment.
• Use proper personal protective equipment and follow gowning procedures.
• Complete daily FN logs and report maintenance issues.
• Support shift lead with punch‑list items, work orders, and area fill‑in duties.
• Communicate professionally with leads, supervisors, co‑workers, managers, and customers.
• Adhere to safety rules, stop at‑risk behavior, and use safety equipment.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• 0.5–1 year of relevant experience (preferred).
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification (a plus).
• Valid driver’s license may be required.
• Completed all safety and task‑training certifications; forklift certification may be required.

Required skills

• Knowledge of cleaning methods, compounds, and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret SOPs, manuals, and safety instructions.
• Forklift operation (if certified).
• Use of personal protective equipment and gowning procedures.
