General Manager – Automotive Sales & Aftersales

About the role

This hybrid position (three days onsite per week) leads the sales and after‑sales business for a designated zone. The General Manager will design and execute strategies to grow sales, improve customer retention, increase market penetration and drive profitability across the dealer network.

Key responsibilities

• Drive achievement of sales and after‑sales targets for the zone.
• Lead engagement initiatives and communication that support market plans.
• Mentor, develop and grow talent within the team.
• Coordinate dealer contractual agreements and ensure compliance with retail and parts sales performance, customer satisfaction and dealer profitability.
• Utilise empowerment tools accurately and inspire teams and customers to meet business goals.
• Identify, coordinate and follow‑up on innovative projects that improve the business.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field; postgraduate studies in sales management or marketing are a plus.
• Proven experience in field sales or key‑account management within the automotive industry or distributor networks.
• Strong results orientation, analytical ability to manage KPIs, and negotiation and influencing skills with dealership owners and managers.
• Advanced level of English and a valid driver’s licence.
• Autonomous, proactive and excellent oral and written communication skills.
