Full Stack Laravel + React Developer (Remote, Latin America)

About the role

Bluelight Consulting is seeking a Full Stack Laravel + React Developer to join its remote team serving clients across Latin America. The role involves building high-quality web applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering solutions that meet client goals.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Laravel (v8+) back-end services and RESTful APIs.
• Implement interactive front-end features using React (or Vue.js/Livewire) and Inertia.js.
• Write automated tests with Pest PHP, PHPUnit, Laravel Dusk or Playwright.
• Participate in code reviews, estimate tasks, and ensure timely delivery.
• Collaborate with clients to understand requirements and align development work with their objectives.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional experience with Laravel 8 or newer.
• Strong knowledge of Eloquent ORM, Laravel Authentication and Query Builder.
• Proficiency in testing tools such as Pest, PHPUnit, Dusk or Playwright.
• Experience with Inertia.js and building RESTful APIs.
• Front-end development experience with React, Vue.js or Laravel Livewire; Tailwind CSS is a plus.
• Ability to take ownership, pay meticulous attention to detail, and maintain a positive, can-do attitude.
