Front Office Treasury Analyst

About the role

Syngenta is looking for a Front Office Treasury Analyst to join its Treasury team in Montevideo, Uruguay. The role supports liquidity, cash visibility and FX exposure management for key Brazilian entities, combining daily execution, analytical judgement and cross‑functional collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily cash positions and liquidity for assigned Brazilian entities, ensuring timely funding.
• Prepare short‑ and medium‑term cash forecasts and support funding decisions.
• Execute and monitor significant FX transactions, analyze impacts and support proactive hedging.
• Act as global point of contact for weekly and monthly cash reporting, ensuring accuracy and stakeholder alignment.
• Maintain operational relationships with banks and internal stakeholders, providing backup across regional activities.
• Contribute to system migrations, digitalisation, audit support and compliance standards.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of relevant Treasury experience.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related discipline.
• Solid treasury and cash‑management knowledge, including exposure and hedging concepts.
• Advanced English; Portuguese is a plus.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder‑management skills with a proactive, control‑mindset.
