Football Trader 2

About the role

Entain is looking for a Football Trader 2 in Montevideo to support and maximise the growth and profitability of its South American labels. The trader provides day-to-day trading and management of positions and liabilities, backed by local knowledge, and has a critical impact on Entain Trading results. The role combines global and local betting and football knowledge.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the Football product through feed management and market awareness in line with risk guidelines and group strategy.
• Produce and trade prices for South American events.
• Trade key events using automated odds models and manage market risk according to liability management protocols and market conditions.
• Monitor and identify customer behaviour, annotate where appropriate, and liaise with the Sportsbook, profiling, responsible gambling and compliance teams in line with trading strategy.
• Ensure accuracy of pricing and event management in line with group strategy.

Required profile

• In-depth knowledge of South American football.
• Understanding of key time awareness, league code profiles, compiling, market drivers and Asian market awareness.
• Comfortable working with numbers, odds and data, and able to understand their impact on trading decisions.
• Flexibility around working times, including unsociable hours, weekends and nights.
• English at intermediate level (flexible).
