Finance and Reporting Advanced Specialist

About the role

As a Finance Accounting & Reporting Advanced Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, you will ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial information across the organization. You will work within the Finance Knowledge Center, supporting regional accounting operations and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Execute complex accounting and reporting activities, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and detailed financial analyses.
• Coordinate statutory audit processes, including the preparation of financial statements.
• Drive process standardisation, continuous‑improvement projects and mentor junior specialists.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (mandatory).
• 2–5 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, local accounting standards and financial statement preparation.
• Advanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• In‑depth understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Experience with statutory audit coordination and financial statement preparation.
• Ability to perform journal entries, reconciliations and financial analyses.
• Proficiency in English for reporting and communication.
