Engineer II – Project

About the role

Integer is seeking an Engineer II – Project to contribute to the development and improvement of medical device products and processes. The role blends standard engineering methods with advanced technologies, ensuring customer expectations are met while adhering to rigorous quality and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Apply standard engineering techniques and adapt specifications, procedures, and work instructions as needed.
• Review and evaluate procedures, plans, and existing products for failure analysis and improvement opportunities.
• Participate in moderate‑complexity projects to investigate, develop, document, and implement new product and process technologies.
• Plan, schedule, and execute engineering work within larger projects or lead smaller‑scope initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems (QMS), safety, environmental, security, and FDA regulations.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or equivalent technical background.
• Ability to work independently with occasional guidance from senior engineers or managers.
• Strong analytical mindset and proactive approach to technical challenges.
• Commitment to Integer’s values and to maintaining high safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Familiarity with FDA regulations for medical devices.
• Experience with failure analysis and process improvement.
