About the role

Join a leading Uruguayan industrial company as an Electromechanic responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of plant equipment and production lines. You will work in a dynamic environment, tackling preventive and corrective maintenance tasks while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Perform mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical maintenance on industrial equipment and installations.
• Diagnose and repair faults in motors, panels, sensors, and other components.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance plans.
• Support continuous‑improvement projects aimed at boosting equipment performance and availability.
• Assist with installation, alignment, and commissioning of new machinery.
• Maintain accurate records of interventions and ensure compliance with safety procedures.

Required profile

• Technical training in Electromechanics, Industrial Electricity, Industrial Maintenance or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial electromechanical maintenance.
• Background in manufacturing sectors such as consumer goods, food, paper, hygiene, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of industrial three‑phase electricity, general mechanics and pneumatics.

Required skills

• Interpretation of electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Use of electrical measurement instruments and workshop tools.
• Maintenance of motors, control panels and sensors.
• Automation, instrumentation or industrial electronics (preferred).
