Director/a de Admisiones

About the role

The University ORT Uruguay seeks a senior leader to drive its admissions strategy. The Director of Admissions will ensure prospective students receive effective guidance throughout the decision process, maximizing conversion into enrolled students.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the annual admissions strategy, establishing enrollment targets for each faculty and program.
• Lead, train and motivate a team of admission advisors, defining performance indicators and monitoring results.
• Optimize the end‑to‑end admission process from first contact to final enrollment.
• Analyze each stage of the process (inquiries, interviews, registrations) to identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with Communication and Institutional Marketing to align outreach actions with enrollment goals.
• Prepare regular reports for university management on enrollment performance.

Required profile

• University degree in Administration, Marketing, Communication or a related discipline.
• Minimum five years of experience leading teams focused on recruitment, enrollment or high‑volume prospect management, preferably in education.
• Strong leadership, results‑oriented management and data‑driven decision‑making.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and achievement orientation.
• Post‑graduate education (MBA or master’s) is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools.
• Data analysis for tracking and improving admission processes.
