DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

About the role

Eightroom is looking for a DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join its technology team. You will be responsible for automating, securing, and scaling the company’s cloud environments while ensuring high availability and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate build, deployment, and rollback processes.
• Manage and optimise AWS infrastructure, including ECS/Fargate, RDS, Lambda, ALB, API Gateway and CloudFront.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
• Set up monitoring, metrics, logging and alerting systems.
• Participate in incident response and root‑cause analysis.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve delivery speed and system reliability.

Required profile

• Proven experience in DevOps, SRE or similar roles.
• Strong background with AWS services and cloud networking.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools, especially Bitbucket Pipelines.
• Solid knowledge of Docker and container orchestration.
• Experience with IaC frameworks and observability tooling.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex systems and implement security best practices.
