Data Engineering Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a Data Engineering Consultant to lead end‑to‑end ERP data migrations into NetSuite. You will work closely with customers to design migration strategies, execute complex data transformations, and ensure a smooth cut‑over to the new system.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement migration plans from legacy ERP/accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Oracle, SAP) to NetSuite.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, mapping, validation, and reconciliation.
• Build and maintain scalable ETL processes using tools such as Oracle Data Integrator, Informatica, Talend, Celigo, or Dell Boomi.
• Develop automation scripts in Python or PL/SQL to support data manipulation.
• Support cut‑over activities, user acceptance testing, and post‑migration validation.
• Assess data quality, provide cleansing recommendations, and advise on data governance and master data management.
• Collaborate with consultants, analysts, and technical teams to resolve migration challenges and deliver training.
• Document migration frameworks, mapping specifications, and capture lessons learned for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience delivering complex ERP data migration projects.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Hands‑on experience migrating data into NetSuite.
• Advanced SQL expertise and familiarity with data governance, GDPR, SOX, and CCPA compliance.
