Data Engineer – Remote (Latin America)

About the role

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our talent network and work remotely with U.S. clients on project‑based assignments. You will become an integral part of the client’s engineering team, collaborating daily with designers and developers to deliver data solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain large‑scale ETL pipelines and workflow automations.
• Write advanced SQL queries, manage relational databases and optimise NoSQL data stores.
• Integrate data platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake and work with cloud environments.
• Develop backend automation using JavaScript and Node.js.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in Agile/Scrum settings.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional software or data engineering experience.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Completed a four‑year college degree.
• Experience working on large, complex systems and taking ownership of deliverables.

Required skills

• JavaScript, Node.js
• SQL and NoSQL databases
• Python scripting
• ETL tools and workflow automation (e.g., n8n)
• Data‑visualisation tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Jasper Reports, Talend
• Cloud data platforms: Databricks, Snowflake (highly desired)
• Big‑data frameworks: Apache Spark, Hadoop, Flink (preferred)
• CI/CD pipelines and Agile/Scrum methodologies
