Corporate Travel Consultant

About the role

Global Travel Collection (GTC), part of Internova Travel Group, is a collection of international luxury travel advisors serving leisure travelers, corporate executives and the entertainment industry. This role offers premium travel consulting to valued customers, including travel arrangements such as air, hotel, car and limo bookings, and assists the independent advisor business owner on all aspects of travel for their clients. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4:45 PM Pacific Time.

Key responsibilities

• Book air, car and hotel reservations using the Sabre reservation system.
• Issue tickets, exchanges, MCOs, voids and refunds through Sabre.
• Handle invoicing as required via Sabre or the Agent Portal.
• Provide consultative service to clients throughout the booking process and complete reservations accurately and on time.
• Research destinations, accommodations, travel advisories, reviews and costs online to meet customers' travel objectives.
• Resolve most customer service issues directly with vendors, keeping the independent advisor informed.
• Plan international trips with knowledge of geography, routing, fares and international travel requirements.

Required profile

• At least five years of experience as a full-time travel agent booking domestic and international travel on public and private carriers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent dispute resolution skills.
• Well organized, detail oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment handling multiple responsibilities.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of the Sabre reservation system, preferably in graphical mode, including GDS formats, shortcuts, enhancements, pricing, fare calculations, e-ticketing and exchanges.
