Client Service Associate

About the role

Join the Jackson Hewitt tax team as a Client Service Associate, the friendly face welcoming visitors to the office and ensuring a smooth client experience.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with clients, confirm appointments and follow up with past and potential clients.
• Assist with tax return preparation, distribute marketing materials and keep clients occupied during wait times.
• Answer basic tax questions, guide clients through the interview process and support the tax preparation workflow.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in a fast‑paced retail or customer‑service environment (preferred but not required).
• Willingness to learn tax preparation and grow in a customer‑focused role.

Required skills

• Basic computer proficiency and ability to troubleshoot common issues.
