Cashier – Customer Service (Colonia)

About the role

We are looking for a Cashier – Customer Service to join our new store in Colonia del Sacramento. The role combines cash‑handling duties with front‑line customer interaction, ensuring a smooth and pleasant shopping experience.

Key responsibilities

• Process customer payments at the cash register, handling cash, cards and other payment methods.
• Issue and control invoices, receipts and vouchers.
• Open, close and reconcile the daily cash drawer.
• Record and follow up on collections.
• Answer general customer inquiries and provide assistance.
• Coordinate continuously with sales staff, administration and other store members.
• Support daily administrative tasks related to store operations.
• Maintain organized documentation and a tidy workspace.
• Contribute to fast, courteous and professional service.

Required profile

• Previous experience in cash handling, collections, invoicing or customer service.
• Good computer literacy and familiarity with management systems.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and reliable with cash.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly attitude toward customers.
• Ability to work in a team and handle high‑demand periods.
• Residence in Colonia del Sacramento or nearby areas.
