Bakery Operator (6am-2pm)

About the role

Join GCG's bakery team in Montevideo and help deliver fresh baked products for airport and airline catering. The shift runs from 6 am to 2 pm, offering a dynamic environment where quality and speed matter.

Key responsibilities

• Operate bakery equipment such as dough sheeters, mixers and ovens.
• Prepare dough, manage fermentation cycles and execute lamination processes.
• Follow standardized recipes to produce breads, pastries and other baked goods.
• Maintain hygiene standards and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
• Monitor production output and report any equipment issues.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a bakery or completion of bakery‑related courses.
• Willingness to work the 6 am‑2 pm shift.
• Ability to thrive in a multicultural, fast‑paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
