About the role

We are seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join our production team in Montevideo. The position works from 14:00 to 22:00, including weekends, and supports high‑volume food preparation for airline and airport catering services.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of menu items such as stews, pies, salads, fillings, sauces and hot dishes.
• Execute cooking, portioning and plating processes in large volumes.
• Maintain hygiene, BPM standards and complete mandatory records (temperature logs, cleaning, process control).
• Keep the work area orderly, clean and organized throughout the shift.
• Assist with general production tasks according to daily operational needs.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an industrial kitchen or gastronomy (preferred but not mandatory).
• Availability to work the 14:00‑22:00 shift and on weekends.
• Ability to perform under strict quality standards and intensive production rhythms.

Required skills

• Food safety knowledge (BPM).
• Hygiene compliance.
• Temperature monitoring and record‑keeping.
