About the role

MissionHires is looking for a Functional ERP Analyst to work onsite in Montevideo. The role acts as the bridge between business units and the IT department, ensuring that operational processes are well understood and translated into clear functional requirements for the ERP system.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the liaison between business areas and IT, deeply understanding operational processes and functional needs.
• Gather requirements from user areas through interviews, meetings, and process analysis.
• Translate business needs into clear, actionable functional specifications for the development team.
• Provide functional support and maintenance for the ERP (Microsoft Dynamics AX).
• Participate in ERP implementations and functional enhancements.
• Assist in creating reports and dashboards using Power BI.
• Perform basic SQL queries to validate or complement process analyses.

Required profile

• Graduate or advanced student in Business Administration, Accounting, or related fields.
• Proven experience as a Functional Analyst with a focus on business processes and acting as a bridge between business and IT (mandatory).
• Experience gathering functional requirements and working with IT teams on solution implementation.
• Strong business vision, proactive attitude, and excellent communication with non‑technical users.
