About the role
The Account Acquisition Analyst will focus on expanding Mercado Libre's fintech payment solutions in Uruguay. You will identify new business opportunities, drive consultative sales processes, and support merchants in launching their operations on our platform.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct competitive analysis to uncover opportunities for in‑person payment solutions.
- Manage the full commercial cycle using consultative selling techniques to achieve and exceed targets.
- Build and maintain long‑term, trust‑based relationships with existing clients.
- Guide and train new merchants on best practices for launching on the platform.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in commercial teams or business development.
- Direct sales experience and market knowledge are a plus.
- Familiarity with the payments industry and managing large accounts is desirable.
