AI Developer

About the role

We are looking for an AI Developer to join our growing team in Uruguay. You will work on web and mobile projects for U.S. startups, turning business needs into AI‑driven solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and translate business requirements into technical tasks.
• Build and preprocess training datasets from multiple sources.
• Evaluate, select, and integrate open‑ and closed‑source models.
• Design, train, test, and fine‑tune machine‑learning models.
• Deploy models to production using MLOps practices.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to embed AI solutions.
• Document processes, experiments, and best practices.
• Stay up‑to‑date with AI trends and propose improvements.

Required profile

• Advanced student or graduate (at least 5 semesters) in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telematics, Mathematics, Physics or related fields.
• 6 months to 1 year of professional experience in AI/ML or software development.
• Advanced written and spoken English.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, problem‑solving mindset.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Data processing and ETL pipelines.
• Model training and fine‑tuning.
• Version control with Git.
• Basic MLOps deployment practices.
