Accountant II – Revenue Recognition

About the role

Join Sabre's Accounting team as an Accountant II, focusing on contract analysis and revenue recognition in line with US GAAP. You will work with airline customers to ensure accurate financial reporting and support the continuous improvement of accounting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Review airline customer contracts for proper revenue recognition under ASC 606 and company policies.
• Prepare invoicing statements and maintain billing systems.
• Develop and maintain accounting entries, general ledger, accounts receivable/payable, and revenue reconciliation.
• Generate and monitor monthly revenue and expenditure reports for projects.
• Apply revenue accounting guidance, determine allocations, and create revenue schedules.
• Ensure internal controls are documented, effective, and timely.
• Assist with special projects and the setup of processes for deferred revenue tracking.
• Produce internal and external revenue reports and interpret findings for stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in accounting (required).
• CPA license or progress toward certification (preferred).
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Analytical mindset with excellent organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Detail‑oriented and able to prioritize workload under tight deadlines.
