About the role

We are seeking a qualified Attorney and Public Notary in Uruguay with deep expertise in corporate and registral law. The professional will handle the full lifecycle of Limited Liability Companies (SRL) before the Dirección General de Registros (DGR) and support tax identification processes with the DGI/BPS.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, file, and amend incorporation documents for SRLs, ensuring compliance with the National Commercial Registry.
• Analyze, respond to, and resolve registry observations, including filing appeals or oppositions when necessary.
• Obtain RUT numbers for newly formed SRLs and for foreign‑registered entities.
• Coordinate with tax authorities on DGI/BPS procedures and maintain up‑to‑date tax records.

Required profile

• Law degree and Notary Public certification.
• Proven hands‑on experience with DGR processes, specifically for SRLs.
• Demonstrated ability to manage registry observations and legal appeals.
• Experience with tax registration (DGI/BPS) for both domestic and foreign companies.
