2D Animator – Mobile Games

About the role

As a 2D Animator, you'll be a pivotal creative force, reporting directly to the Lead 2D Animator. You'll be instrumental in bringing our mobile games to life by designing, creating, and implementing high-quality 2D animations and cycles for characters, in‑game elements, and effects.

Key responsibilities

• Create high‑quality 2D character and effects animations for mobile games, ensuring alignment with the artistic vision.
• Collaborate with art and animation leadership to define animation direction, methods, and creative solutions.
• Assist in planning animation sequences by contributing to or creating basic storyboards.
• Work with artists, designers, and engineers to improve animation pipelines and workflows.
• Estimate effort for animation tasks with production and project managers and deliver on schedule.
• Participate in animation reviews, incorporating feedback to refine quality.
• Maintain organized animation files and follow asset management procedures.

Required profile

• Advanced proficiency in 2D animation, with expert command of timing, staging, and posing for game animation.
• Proven ability to create compelling animations despite artistic, technical, or gameplay constraints.
• Clear understanding of animation beats and timing specific to interactive experiences.
• Broad animation skills capable of executing various performance styles.
• Deep practical experience with the full 2D animation pipeline.
