Video Editor (Short-Form & Social Media)

About the role

Launch Potato is seeking a creative Video Editor to produce short‑form video ads for its portfolio of digital brands. You will craft engaging UGC‑style videos for platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and more, helping to boost ad performance and drive measurable results.

Key responsibilities

• Edit high‑quality, short‑form video ads for multiple social platforms, ensuring strong hooks, pacing and storytelling.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to develop titles, thumbnails and creative concepts.
• Record occasional A‑roll and B‑roll footage and incorporate user‑generated content.
• Leverage AI tools to generate new hooks, b‑roll and concept ideas.
• Monitor comments and performance metrics to continuously optimise creative assets.

Required profile

• 2+ years of professional video‑editing experience, preferably in paid‑social advertising.
• Strong eye for detail, ability to work quickly and communicate clearly via Slack.
• Passion for staying on top of trends across YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram and Facebook.
• Analytical mindset with basic understanding of KPIs such as CTR, CPA and ROI.
