UI/UX Designer

About the role

Plan A Technologies is seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to lead the end‑to‑end design of its digital ecosystem, including a guest‑facing cruise line website and a companion mobile app. You will build on existing Figma concepts and create production‑ready user journeys across web and mobile platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design holistic user journeys from early concept through final developer handoff for both web and mobile interfaces.
• Extend existing Figma concepts into comprehensive UI components, design systems, and responsive layouts.
• Bridge desktop booking experiences with on‑the‑go mobile applications, ensuring consistency across touchpoints.
• Map friction‑free guest flows covering pre‑cruise exploration, booking, and on‑board interactions.
• Create intuitive wireframes, micro‑interactions, loading/error states, and polished visual UI.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional UI/UX design experience for responsive web and native iOS/Android applications.
• Proven background designing guest‑facing interfaces in hospitality, travel, cruise, or experience‑driven industries.
• Strong understanding of mobile UI patterns (Apple Human Interface Guidelines, Material Design) and web accessibility/usability standards.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced expertise in Figma (auto‑layout, design systems, component libraries, interactive prototyping).
• Knowledge of iOS and Android design guidelines.
• Familiarity with Apple Human Interface Guidelines and Material Design.
• Understanding of web accessibility standards.
