Treasury Specialist – Uruguay

About the role

We are seeking a Treasury Specialist to join Eron International’s global finance team. The role will be based in Uruguay and will focus on managing liquidity, banking relationships and automating treasury processes to support our cross‑border payment platform.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage the company’s cash position and liquidity on a daily basis.
• Build cash‑flow forecasts and produce regular treasury reports.
• Optimize working capital and identify opportunities to maximize cash surpluses.
• Execute and control local and international payments.
• Manage FX hedging, monitor currency exposure and oversee related risk.
• Maintain bank accounts and relationships with financial providers.
• Track investments and placements of surplus cash.
• Perform bank reconciliations and control banking transactions.
• Analyze banking costs and rates.
• Develop automations and process improvements, including the use of AI tools such as Claude.
• Define and track treasury KPIs and support digitalisation projects.
• Ensure internal controls and full traceability of all operations.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Solid experience in treasury operations, cash management, FX exposure and banking relationships.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Proactive attitude toward process improvement and automation.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Experience with Treasury Management Systems (TMS) or ERP tools.
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted tools (e.g., Claude) for reporting and workflow automation.
