About the role
SupportYourApp is looking for a bilingual Technical Support Consultant to join its global Intelligent Support‑as‑a‑Service team. You will provide high‑quality assistance to customers across 60 languages, focusing on English and Portuguese speakers in the LATAM region, all from the comfort of your home office.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer support via chat, email and ticketing systems.
- Manage troubleshooting processes, handle escalations and maintain backlog.
- Build strong, lasting relationships with customers while ensuring data security.
- Stay up‑to‑date with evolving tools, technologies and customer‑happiness practices.
- Maintain deep understanding of client solutions, meet KPI targets and collaborate with internal teams.
Required profile
- Native Portuguese speaker with excellent English (C1) – both spoken and written.
- Proven experience in technical support or similar customer‑facing roles.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule and a proactive, responsible attitude.
- Personal computer with at least 8 GB RAM and a stable internet connection (≥50 Mbps download, ≥40 Mbps upload).
Required skills
- Proficiency with Windows, Linux and macOS operating systems and basic diagnostic commands.
- Software troubleshooting, log‑file analysis and ability to interpret scripting logic (Bash, PowerShell).
- Knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals and vulnerability‑management concepts (CVEs, risk scoring, false positives).
- Understanding of APIs and Webhooks for connection‑issue troubleshooting.
- Experience with ticketing systems such as HubSpot and Jira.
- Strong analytical and research abilities, and ability to write clear, professional case notes.
