Tech Lead – Sanity CMS (Remote, Latin America)

About the role

We are looking for a Tech Lead specialized in Sanity CMS to join our talent network and work remotely with U.S. clients on project‑based initiatives. You will become an integral part of the client’s engineering team, collaborating daily with designers and engineers to drive large‑scale content migration and platform modernization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architecture decisions and guide the engineering team through complex CMS migration projects.
• Design and implement backend services, APIs, and data migration solutions from legacy systems to Sanity CMS.
• Define migration strategies, manage content modeling, data mapping, transformation, and ensure data integrity.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders including product, content, and engineering teams.
• Integrate enterprise platforms with modern headless CMS solutions and oversee cloud deployment workflows.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional full‑stack software engineering experience.
• 3+ years in technical leadership roles, driving architecture and team execution.
• Advanced English proficiency and a completed four‑year college degree.
• Proven experience delivering large‑scale CMS migrations.

Required skills

• TypeScript and Node.js in production environments.
• Hands‑on experience with Sanity CMS (content schemas, APIs, migration tooling).
• Strong background in RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
• Modern JavaScript frameworks such as React and/or Next.js.
• Understanding of headless CMS architectures and content delivery platforms.
• Experience with document‑based databases and cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager, Contentful, Strapi, or WordPress is a plus.
