Tech Lead (Sanity CMS) – Remote – Latin America

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead to join our client’s remote engineering team and drive Sanity CMS migration projects across Latin America. You will work closely with designers and engineers, shaping architecture and ensuring successful delivery of content‑centric solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of large‑scale CMS migration strategies, including content modeling, data mapping and transformation.
• Define and enforce architecture decisions for backend services, APIs and headless CMS integrations.
• Collaborate daily with cross‑functional stakeholders (product, content, engineering) to align technical solutions with business goals.
• Identify technical risks, ensure data integrity, and oversee migration execution.
• Mentor and guide engineering team members through complex technical initiatives.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional full‑stack software engineering experience.
• 3+ years in technical leadership roles, driving architecture and team execution.
• Advanced English proficiency and a completed four‑year college degree.
• Proven experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and modern JavaScript ecosystems (React, Next.js).
• Hands‑on experience with Sanity CMS, including schema design, APIs and migration tooling.
• Strong background in RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and scalable distributed systems.
