Supervisor de producción

About the role

We are looking for a Production Supervisor to lead the manufacturing operations at Savencia Uruguay (Bonprole). The role ensures production targets are met while driving continuous improvement, safety, and food‑quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Organize and schedule production to meet finished‑goods delivery requirements.
• Supervise manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with established procedures, safety regulations, and food‑safety standards.
• Maintain plant cleanliness, order, and equipment upkeep.
• Identify, propose and manage resources for process optimizations and continuous‑improvement projects.
• Develop the professional skills of team members, recognizing strengths and improvement opportunities.
• Ensure proper implementation of HACCP, Good Manufacturing Practices (BPM) and occupational safety protocols (SySO, LOTO).

Required profile

• Technical degree related to the food industry (Food Engineering, Dairy Industry, Technical Dairy, or similar).
• Minimum five years of supervisory or leadership experience in food‑production environments.
• Experience with food safety management systems, HACCP and quality standards.
• Residence in Libertad or within a 40 km radius, or own vehicle for commuting.

Required skills

• HACCP and food‑safety system knowledge.
• Good Manufacturing Practices (BPM) and quality compliance.
• Occupational safety and health (SySO) and LOTO methodology.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Basic knowledge of SAP.
