Steward Supervisor (YouTube Theater)

About the role

The Steward Supervisor oversees all stewarding staff for events at the YouTube Theater. The role requires presence on event days, which are typically Sundays but may also include other weekdays. You will ensure cleanliness, safety, and efficient operations throughout the venue.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and schedule stewarding staff for each event.
• Oversee cleaning and storage of all restaurant wares and major equipment.
• Execute stewarding and dish duties as needed.
• Inspect kitchens, workrooms, and equipment for cleanliness and order.
• Direct thorough cleaning of walls, floors, and all areas.
• Maintain safety and security of employees and guests.
• Handle high‑pressure situations and flexible work hours.
• Uphold strict confidentiality regarding food and beverage operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in a high‑volume kitchen environment.
• Ability to work long, flexible hours, including late nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand, sit, and use hands for handling equipment.
• Strong customer service orientation and honest communication.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of chemical usage for cleaning.
• Experience operating a commercial dishwasher.
• Proper usage of a trash compactor.
