Statistics & Python Expert - Freelance AI Trainer

About the role

We are looking for a Statistics & Python Expert to join our network of freelance AI trainers. You will work remotely on project‑based tasks that involve designing and validating computational statistics problems for AI evaluation.

Key responsibilities

• Design original computational statistics problems that simulate real mathematical research workflows.
• Create Python‑based problem sets using libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, and SymPy.
• Ensure problems are computationally intensive and cannot be solved manually within reasonable timeframes.
• Develop problems requiring non‑trivial reasoning in number theory, combinatorics, graph theory, and numerical analysis.
• Base problems on real research challenges or practical applications.
• Verify solutions programmatically and document problem statements with correct answers.

Required profile

• Degree in Statistics or a related quantitative field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in applied statistics, research, or teaching.
• Strong written English proficiency (C1 level or higher).
• Professional certifications (e.g., CMME, SAS, CAP) are a plus.
