Spanish Content Editing Expert - Remote

About the role

We are looking for a Spanish Content Editing Expert to support the training of next‑generation AI systems. Working remotely, you will ensure that Spanish language data meets the highest quality standards, helping models learn, reason, and perform accurately.

Key responsibilities

• Spot‑check Spanish items, identify quality issues, provide feedback, and escalate critical problems.
• Communicate updates, guidelines, and workflow changes to trainers and QAs via Discord.
• Answer trainer/QA questions about Spanish wording, grammar, tone, register, cultural context, and regional variations.
• Activate and monitor remote contributors, encouraging participation and tracking availability.
• Create and maintain project documentation such as style guides, trackers, FAQs, honeypots, and onboarding materials.
• Schedule and deliver onboarding and training sessions for new team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Spanish, Linguistics, Translation, Communications, Journalism, English, Education, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
• Native or near‑native Spanish proficiency with strong reading and writing skills.
• Excellent English proficiency for following guidelines and communicating with the team.
• 3+ years of professional experience in Spanish writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, AI training, education, or annotation.
• Deep knowledge of Spanish grammar, spelling, punctuation, accents, tone, register, and cultural nuances.
• Ability to work with both Latin American and European Spanish variants and specify supported variants.
• Experience leading or supporting remote annotation or review teams is a strong plus.
