NTU International is currently preparing a proposal for the GIZ Global Gateway Investment Climate Reform (ICR) facility. This strategic initiative aims to support partner countries in enhancing their business environments and unlocking sustainable private investment through demand-driven technical assistance.

We are building a high-level pool of experts specializing in trade facilitation. Joining this pool provides you with direct access to specific consultancy missions and high-impact international development projects as they arise.

Missions principales

• Support and design reforms aimed at reducing trade barriers and transaction costs.
• Provide high-level advisory services on customs procedures, border management, and trade systems.
• Strengthen regional integration and the development of resilient value chains.
• Formulate strategic recommendations for national and regional trade policies.
• Assist governments and stakeholders in implementing investment climate reforms to promote inclusive economic growth.

Profil recherché

• Master’s degree in Economics, International Trade, Law, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 9 years of experience in economic policy consulting for governments.
• At least 7 years of proven experience in business and investment climate reforms.
• 3 to 5 years of specialized experience in trade facilitation or trade policy.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working on international development cooperation projects.

Competences requises

• Advanced proficiency in English (C1 level mandatory).
• High proficiency in French or Spanish (C1 level).
• Deep understanding of customs regulations and international trade frameworks.
• Expertise in economic policy analysis and institutional reform.
