Senior Power BI Business Intelligence Analyst

About the role

Blend is seeking a Senior Power BI Business Intelligence Analyst to join its data and analytics team. You will transform complex business data into actionable insights by building scalable reporting solutions, interactive dashboards, and strategic analytics for a global digital experience organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Gather and translate business requirements into scalable reporting and analytics solutions.
• Build and optimise data models, DAX measures, calculated columns, and KPIs.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and data engineering teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Analyse large datasets from multiple sources to identify trends and operational insights.
• Enhance reporting performance and usability by applying best practices in visualisation.
• Support ad‑hoc analysis and executive‑level reporting requests.
• Drive continuous improvement in BI processes, governance, and reporting standards.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Power BI, Power Query, DAX, and semantic data modelling.
• Proven track record building enterprise‑level dashboards and executive reporting solutions.
• Excellent SQL skills for querying relational databases.
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Snowflake, or similar.
• Ability to work directly with business stakeholders to define KPIs and reporting needs.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
