Senior Machine Learning Engineer – AWS

About the role

Coderio is looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to lead the design, training, deployment, and monitoring of ML models on AWS. You will mentor a junior team, establish robust MLOps practices, and ensure models are reliable and production‑ready.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers.
• Train and fine‑tune models using Amazon SageMaker, enforcing reproducibility and experimentation standards.
• Deploy models on SageMaker and support the transition to production.
• Define and promote best practices for versioning, experimentation, training, and deployment (MLOps).
• Implement monitoring solutions for models and data in live environments.
• Detect and analyze data drift, model drift, and performance degradation.
• Advise on model explainability, bias mitigation, and fairness.
• Support graph‑based use cases and Graph Neural Networks (GNN).
• Help resolve technical challenges and uphold engineering standards.

Required profile

• At least 4 years of experience in Machine Learning Engineering, MLOps, or related roles.
• Hands‑on experience with Amazon SageMaker for both training and deployment.
• Proven track record of monitoring ML models and data in production.
• Familiarity with data drift, model drift, and performance monitoring.
