Senior Fullstack Engineer (Golang/React) – Remote

About the role

Kake is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join its high‑scale product engineering team. You will work remotely on critical user experiences that serve millions worldwide, building both backend services and modern frontend applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Golang.
• Build and enhance user‑facing applications with React, Next.js, and GraphQL.
• Implement cloud‑native solutions on AWS, focusing on scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Work with data and messaging systems such as MongoDB, Snowflake, Kafka, SQS, and Airflow.
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain production services on Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with product, design, platform, and infrastructure teams to deliver seamless experiences.
• Improve observability, reliability, and operational excellence through automation and performance optimization.
• Participate in architectural discussions and troubleshoot complex production issues.

Required profile

• Strong experience building high‑performance, scalable applications with Golang and modern frontend technologies.
• Professional experience with React.js, Next.js, and GraphQL.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and event‑driven architectures.
• Proven ability to deliver reliable systems in high‑traffic, large‑scale environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently in a fast‑paced remote setting.
