Senior Full-Stack engineer (Typescript)

About the role

UserEvidence is a SaaS platform that turns happy customer stories into a library of marketing assets. The UE Advocacy product, recently acquired, needs a senior engineer to help stabilize and evolve its codebase while following strict development patterns.

Key responsibilities

• Re‑architect legacy Express APIs to a modern Hono/Bun backend, adding full integration test coverage.
• Decompose large React pages (3‑5k LOC) and migrate .jsx files to strict‑mode .tsx.
• Improve frontend performance through bundle splitting, dynamic imports, and mobile‑first coding.
• Strengthen data integrity with typed enums and state‑machine patterns.
• Build new customer‑facing features behind feature flags and canary rollouts, adhering to acceptance criteria.
• Investigate, reproduce, and fix bugs using New Relic traces, structured logs, and database queries, adding regression tests.

Required profile

• Senior‑level engineer comfortable working in a rapidly evolving codebase.
• Strong discipline in following established patterns, canary deployments, and automated review processes.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, well‑tested TypeScript code.
