Senior DevOps Engineer – Remote – Latin America

About the role

Join a leading IT talent network as a Senior DevOps Engineer, working remotely for U.S. clients across Latin America. You will become an integral part of the client’s engineering team, collaborating daily with designers and developers to deliver high‑performance infrastructure solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate directly into the client’s engineering team and collaborate daily with designers and developers.
• Maintain and troubleshoot enterprise‑grade Linux servers in production environments.
• Manage networking components including routing, switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VPNs, firewalls and SSL/TLS.
• Administer load‑balancing solutions such as F5 BIG‑IP and virtualized infrastructure (hosts, clusters, resources).
• Support storage systems and SAN platforms, e.g., Pure Storage.
• Oversee web‑stack components (Apache, PHP, MySQL/MariaDB) and NoSQL databases like Couchbase.
• Implement containerization with Docker and orchestrate workloads using Kubernetes.
• Develop infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform and Ansible, and automate tasks with Bash or Python.
• Design, maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and monitoring solutions (Grafana, Prometheus) on AWS and hybrid cloud environments.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, systems or network engineering.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Completed a four‑year college degree.
