Senior Data Scientist Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist Lead to drive the design, development and delivery of data‑science solutions for our international client. In this high‑impact role you will own the full analytics lifecycle, turning business challenges into measurable value through advanced modelling and cloud‑based deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the conception and implementation of data‑science initiatives, establishing methodologies and best practices.
• Develop, evaluate and optimise statistical and machine‑learning models to solve complex problems.
• Own end‑to‑end data‑science workflow: data exploration, feature engineering, model building, validation, deployment, monitoring and continuous improvement.
• Design scalable solutions on AWS, leveraging cloud services for data processing and model serving.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to data scientists and cross‑functional team members.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, data engineers and software engineers to align solutions with business objectives.
• Monitor model performance, identify optimisation opportunities and ensure long‑term reliability.
• Contribute to the overall data‑science strategy and promote knowledge sharing across the organisation.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in data science, machine learning or advanced analytics.
• Proven track record of leading technical initiatives or teams.
• Strong analytical mindset with a business‑oriented approach.
• Experience working with cloud environments, preferably AWS.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with multidisciplinary stakeholders.
