Senior AI Engineer

About the role

Blend is looking for a Senior AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy autonomous AI agents that automate the full sales lifecycle—from lead qualification to meeting scheduling and customer engagement. You will work at the intersection of AI, data science, and marketing technology to create intelligent systems that enrich CRM data and boost demand‑generation performance.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and launch autonomous AI agents that research prospects, capture intent signals, and enrich CRM records.
• Develop AI‑powered campaign management tools that monitor and optimise paid media, email, and social campaigns in real time.
• Create dynamic, NLP‑driven lead‑nurturing workflows that personalise prospect interactions.
• Build human‑in‑the‑loop evaluation frameworks to ensure outputs match brand voice, quality, and security standards.
• Integrate AI agents with HubSpot, Salesforce, 6sense, Google Analytics and other MarTech platforms.
• Design scalable prompt‑engineering strategies and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines to improve reasoning accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify automation opportunities across the customer acquisition funnel.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in Growth Engineering, Marketing Engineering, Marketing Automation, or a related technical role.
• Proven track record building AI‑powered workflows or autonomous agents.
• Familiarity with B2B marketing, buyer journeys, demand generation and attribution models.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.

Required skills

• Agent orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph or CrewAI.
• Low‑code/no‑code automation platforms (Zapier, Make.com, Clay).
• Prompt engineering and large language model (LLM) applications.
• APIs, JSON handling and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
• Integration experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, 6sense and Google Analytics.
