Senior Account Manager

About the role

dLocal is looking for a Senior Account Manager to lead a portfolio of global clients in the fast‑growing fintech payments space. You will act as the main point of contact, understand client needs, and drive revenue growth through upselling and cross‑selling.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and expand a strategic portfolio of client accounts across multiple emerging markets.
• Build long‑term relationships with senior stakeholders by delivering tailored payment solutions.
• Identify and pursue upsell and cross‑sell opportunities to increase account revenue.
• Collaborate with product, operations, and support teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
• Serve as a regional expert, providing market insights to shape sales and account strategies.
• Represent dLocal at industry events, conferences, and professional networking gatherings.
• Contribute to the design and execution of growth‑focused operational strategies.

Required profile

• 5+ years of B2B sales or account management experience, preferably in tech or fintech.
• Proven track record of upselling and cross‑selling within existing accounts.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects and accounts simultaneously.
• Established business network and experience developing strategic partnerships.
• Willingness to take smart, customer‑focused risks.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Readiness to travel internationally as needed.
