Semi Senior Software Engineer

About the role

Foliume is building an AI‑powered platform for insurance brokers and is looking for a semi‑senior software engineer to help ship new features across its three products. You will work in a fast‑moving, remote‑friendly environment, contributing to both backend and frontend code while collaborating closely with AI engineers, product managers and designers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and ship features for three products (AI sales assistant, voice‑agent back‑office, client hub) with multiple daily deployments.
• Work across the stack using Python on the backend, Next.js on the frontend, and Supabase as the data layer.
• Build AI‑driven components such as LLM‑based quoting flows, voice agents and data‑driven tools for segmentation and marketing automation.
• Design and implement data‑centric services, write clean code, review pull requests and mentor junior developers.
• Participate in product decisions, shaping architecture and technical direction.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience delivering web applications in production.
• Strong fundamentals in software design and relational database modeling.
• Ability to own features end‑to‑end, from concept through deployment and iteration.
• Self‑driven, fast‑moving attitude and clear communication in English (Spanish used daily).
• Bonus experience with AI/ML, data pipelines or Supabase.
